An extraordinary heirloom design from Elena Collection, The Lorena is created for christenings, baptisms, flower-girl celebrations, and the special occasions meant to be remembered for generations.
The Lorena is handcrafted from hand-beaded corded lace, requiring extensive preparation before the dress can even be assembled. Each section of lace is individually positioned and cut so that the embroidered motifs are beautifully placed throughout the bodice, sleeves, and skirt.
Because the lace is beaded, the beads surrounding each seam must be carefully removed by hand before sewing, allowing the individual sections to be joined without damaging the lace or the construction. This painstaking process makes each Lorena exceptionally time-consuming to create.
The dress features a fused bodice for structure, delicate sheer lace sleeves, and an added crinoline for traditional fullness and an elegant silhouette.
A coordinating pearl belt, handmade bonnet, and headband are included, creating a complete heirloom ensemble.
